The project
Through Relief 33, I explore the body through each encounter. Every person brings their own uniqueness and chooses how they wish to be photographed.
The body at the heart of the project
The body as living matter
Whether covered or revealed, still or in motion, the body remains living matter at the heart of the image. Even when framing a detail at very close range, the photograph keeps it connected to the person who chooses to be seen. Skin, marks, textures and natural volumes remain visible, without being corrected to fit an ideal.

Each image is built around three dimensions that run through the project. They shape my way of seeing and the way I photograph the body.

Matter & light
The skin, its textures, the shadows and the reliefs become material. The light does not seek to smooth, but to reveal what is already there.

Intimacy
Closeness and trust allow gestures, silences, fragility and sometimes sensuality to appear. Nothing is imposed: these elements emerge from what the person chooses to reveal. Relief 33 can be intimate and sensual. It does not seek to make seduction or eroticism the main subject of the image.

What emerges from the encounter
A selection of photographs born from encounters and shared choices. They reflect the way each person chose to be seen.
Collaboration
A respectful collaboration
Each session is built through dialogue. It may remain fully clothed or move toward more exposed images, without any required progression. The person being photographed chooses what they wish to show, and that choice is respected through the shoot, selection and publication.
